I have planned a Metro route for a few days now while i was waiting for a solution to the two problems i have (check out the 38411 patch? thread in the general discussions section to see if you can help 
).
Specs:
9 lines
79 stations
5 more under construction
aprox track length- 280km
2 enclosed (completely underground) lines
2 connections to regional rail (high speed lines)
Biggest station (no of lines) called Wheaton Rd with 5 lines running through (1 terminus)
Can anyone recommend any subway kit's, tutorials, stations. Anything that would help.
One request, i would like the subway tunnels to be lay'd as rail would as opposed to as a tunnel. I will take a tunnel based track but only if i really like it
Any suggestions cant be tested in-game due to the fact the game doesn't work and i cannot even get onto the CMP2 (more about that on the thread indicated above) but suggestions would be appreciated.
