subscribed thread notification...

Seems like I remember from the old forums ... when you started or posted to a thread, you would get an email stating that someone had responded to a thread you were subscribed to. I haven't received any notification in years. I can see in my user CP the threads I am subscribed to but see no way to change notification status.
Any ideas anyone?

I haven't recieved a forum notification in years either. Auran blames it on Comcast servers, Comcast blames it on the Auran servers. I gave up on the idea of getting it fixed many moons ago.

Click on Quick Links then under User Control Panel click on Edit Options - scroll down to Messaging and Notifications -> Default Thread subscription Mode -> select "Instant email notification"

If already selected toggle it on and off and if it still does not work perhaps contact the help desk

I ran for years with a domain of "SBCGlobal.net" but I suddenly stopped getting email notifications. I tried the helpdesk but Zec was unable to find out why they weren't' coming to me. When I changed to a gmail account I began getting them again.

SBCGlobal was purchased by AT&T. AT&T blames Auran and the various paths the emails come through for blocking emals directed to AT&T accounts. Zec tells me that they aren't doing anything to them at all.

So, what we have here is an impasse with mucho finger-pointing. The problem is becoming widespread, but with no solution in sight.

It was on...I toggled it off>saved> went back to the thread>back to User CP>toggled it back on.... I'll see if that helps.

PS: I also went from SBC to AT&T... at some point.

i get a email when on every thread i have poseted to , you need to look in the user cp up at the top, some where in there is where yu can turn it off & trun it on
