Stuttering

Anyone else getting MORE stuttering now?

Let me explain - the short halts are shorter and more regular. So whereas I used to get intermittent freezes but smooth graphics in between, there is now a constant tempo of jerkiness...

Yep, I tried Maria Pass X and it was like it wasn't on an SSD.

I am running a I7-3820 and a GTX-660TI on Windows 8 with 16 meg of ram with Trainz on an SSD so I have the horsepower.

The Jet engine is just wheezing along.

are you talking about SP1? i notice dramatic slowdown 10 or more fps lower.... same route same nvidia settings same computer....

"Wheezing along" means sucking for air when you can't keep up the pace in physical activity.

G'day, he is not talking about a loco but is refering to the software engine of trainz not being able to work well.

OGL is worse than ever sad because the graphics quality is way better than Dx.
Dx seems to be a few fps faster but not sure at least not less.

Well that shoots one theory in the head. I thought maybe it was my WinXP holding me back.

FWIW: AMD Athlon II x4, 6gb memory (can't use it all due to XP), nVidia GTX550Ti, so you're ahead of me and if you are also having this trouble, well...

I'm confused. I could barely run TS12 before but SP1 has made it run so well I'm considering ditching TS2010 after I move my content over.

Some assets have become bloated (~10MB larger) which may contribute.
