Struggling with the ATLS system. Please help!

So I figured I would give the ATLS system a go...I can't figure what I'm missing. I have a Controller, Slave which is linked into my road, & (4) Triggers. Everything is set to channel 1, and all (4) of the triggers are set to 2 way system. With the current settings I have, the traffic is permanently stopped. It doesn't wait to stop when my loco trips the trigger...what am I missing here?

Sorry Steve, I can't help you, but I'm glad to see I'm not the last guy to try the system!

'Routes' on the controller and slave should be set to -1 (minus/negetaive 1) which will put the thing into 'LCM' = Level Crossing Mode...

If you have not gone here already, here is the link to the ATLS creators trainz dedicated homepage.

It has all the info you need as well as dowloadable pdf files all about how to build and operate ATLS controlled crossings as well as information on some other wonderful Trainz systems you may really like. I would recommend going to the site anyway, It would open up to a whole world of ATLS possibilities. Now, I can only show you the door. You have to be the one to open it and step inside.

Anyway, from what I see in your pictures, you look like you put the assets together correctly for your paticular crossing, the triggers are programmed right for the 4 trigger set up, and all three assets are on the same channel. The route settings I am seeing currently has the controller telling the slave to stop all traffic. (hidden behind the phase option is all red light indications.) Like Dermmy said, all it should take to run right is, change the slave and controller to minus one by going back to route 0 then clicking down one more time. it goes into Level Crossing Mode(LCM.) The actual route numbers are more for if you are running a roadz intersection, which the site can explain it better than I can. Happy Trainzing!!

Setting all to Routes to (-1) seems to be what I was missing. Now....onto Helmstetter's curved crossing...

Thanks everyone!

Glad to see the world didn't stop turning while I was asleep last night....

All sorted then!

And Euphod, you should be ashamed of yourself if you haven't tried ATLS yet! Might even get you hooked on ASB's after that!!! :hehe:

I'm surprised I never tried this earlier....I'll probably just make my own crossings for now on....

Now I just need to figure out to get my crossing gates integrated into the system...

:D

I agree, i'm hooked on all 3 of the systems.

@stevelerro. Try looking on the DLS for ATLS NRC (no road crossing) Crossings and there may be just that perfect crossing signal you are seeking. also, I noticed the bug icon.
