Straighten tunnel tracks

I would like to put in a tunnel loop on 1 baseboard to reach a certain height (helix) but what im running into is, the default tunnel tracks when you go to put in a curve the section before the curve kicks out to the side and isnt straight but whn i try to straighten it it wont straighten. I have tried AJS Tunnel stuff but dosent do exactly what i want.

As far as I know, you cannot straighten Tunnels. However, sometimes, when I place a tunnel, it becomes straight on it's own. Don't know why, it just does.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

The AJS system is probably the best bet for this, but if it's not what you need, try inserting extra spline points just before and after the tunnel mouth, and you'll be able to minimise the kinks by aligning the points. Not perfect, but probably better than what you've got. You'll also be able to straighten the section after the one joined to the tunnel.

Resurection Of An Old Thread

Most tunnels snap to the basboard grid at right angles, and are not straight when going across the baseboards at an angle.

Are here any tunnels that are straight and positionable at any angle to the baseboard grid ?

My Hermosa Tunnel, for example. You have to use a seperate dighole object to create the hole in the terrain, and it can take a bit of fiddling with when you are at an angle to the grid, but it can be done.

Thanks...and for your quick reply:
