STILL WAITING FOR MY TRAINZ

Hi Bushymo
You should have received a PM yesterday from me. Please let me know if you got it, and when they arrive :)

As for the Trainz Collection issue, for the serial number printing, I shall forward this on for you.

Thanks
Zec

I think either you mis-read the price ticket, or Electronics Boutique are on a major ripoff mission.
Auran sell the box version of TRS09 for $29.99 USD, this converts to just $36.86 Australian, so $89 is daylight robbery that Ned Kelly would have been proud of. :'(

If you look on the Auran site you will see this

Trainz Simulator 2009: World Builder Edition (on DVD) AUD $69.95

The low price was a pre-release special

Well I've just clicked on "Website" (at top of this page) then "Auran Store".

I get to here ...... http://www.auran.com/auran/shop.php
No sign of what you state, just the list which includes the following .......

Trainz Simulator 2009: World Builder Edition (on DVD) USD $29.99
Create and operate the rail world of your dreams. Build routes, drive locos, issue Driver Commands, download content and much more.

So if you could provide a link to the counter they've hidden the $69.95 version under, I could have a looksee. :)

So is Auran trying to rip off it's native Australian customers ?
You would be better off ordering 09 through the US/British web page.
Weird or what ?

Hey guys, the pricing issue has been reported. It's most likely an error in the shop system.
Thank you for reporting this to us.

Hey Auran, how about trying to help Bushymo. Are you aware that Bushymo ordered a product from you and is yet to receive that product. Almost 6 months is a long time to ignore someone who needs help isn't it??

I never used to bag Auran but I can't help it in this day and age. Someone at Auran should be held accountable for Bushymo not receiving his copy of Trainz within a reasonable time frame.

Someone at Auran should be held accountable.
Colhad, it's not Auran should be, it's Auran ARE.

But yes I agree, if you have a copy of the payment he sent Auran, send his game out. I sure wouldn't be as lenient as Bushymo. Also I thought Bushymo started this thread mainly about Auran's failure to supply goods within a reasonable time, not really about pricing of the product.

If Auran keeps this up, they will (& probably have lost) loose customers.

Oh & Bushymo, what about my questions in my post before this post?

Please see post #21 guys. The issue has been sorted on our end. We are just awaiting confirmation from bushymo that the items arrive. I had been hoping to keep the information between bushymo and Auran (unless he wanted to post it), however to keep the peace I'm going to say this.

The issue has been sorted. The order has been pushed through the system and should be in the mail, if it hasn't already arrived.

My Responses

OK right there Red Rattler, Ah Yes I did see the price at EB, thought 'that was a bit rich, and left it (TRS 2009) there and just bought the Trainz Collection pack, and saying "Ah That'll do, that's got TRS 04 and 06 on it... and I can do some paintshedding too...

Secondly, Yes... Thanks Zec... sounds like things are on their way... sometimes things can get mislaid sometimes... I idid after about four weeks of having not recived it go to the post office here and was informed that the MO had been cashed at the NAB bank in Brisbane, and though it was unusual for one to be able to cash a MO at a bank, usually you cash a MO at a Post Office... so I thought Auran might be waiting for something else aport from TRS 2009 that was out of stock before they sent all of the things I had ordered. In the meantime I thought I had lost the reciept that the Post Office here had given me, but had only just found it again... and was able to give Auran the number of it and when I posted it, wihch turnd out to be Feb 9th 2009.

I was a bit suprised when the lady behind the counter at the local Post Office said that the MO had been cashed at an NAB branch... and not a Post Office... Oh Well!... We learn something new every day

As for being lenient, It does pay to be patient, and often we find that things eventually get sortred out as they appear to have been done so successfuly... I think the key is knowing where your reciept is, and though I thought and was afraid that I had discarded it, Once having found it, I knew I was back on the right track again... and it was just a matter of going to the HelpDesk as Zec had reccomending me to do... Thank You Zec

I had almost given up on getting it, and had a feeling that I might have discarded the reciept, and thought no more of it, until I found it, On finding the receipt I took note of the number and the date and got on the helpdesk to give Auran the correct details... sounds like the MO has been found... so hopefully soon I should have my TRS 2009, the TC3 and the other things I have ordered...

I HAVE IT

:)Eeeyep! Just got it Zec... There was an Australia Post parcel collection card in my letterbox this morning, I've been down to collect it, and have just got it home and installed it... registered the serial number on Planet Auran... I have I done it the right way? I know last time when I had TRS 2006, I was having all kinds of problems with an error message that kept on coming up in CMP telling me that I do not have a valid serial number, and to check with Planet Auran to make sure I have all my details in my provile, or words to similar effect... even though I had already regisetered TRS 2006 with planet auran, that was what I kept on getting... which to me wa ratehr puzzling...
Hopefully with TRS 2009, I won't get that particular error mssage come up like I id before...

I'm about to open it up and start getting into it Zec... Thank You... Much appreciated.:)

If you do see that message, well there are things we can try in 09 (I've not heard of it happening before this, but my guess is that the database hasn't picked up an update properly, 09 has way to force database repairs which normally fix this sort of problem).
