Something tells me the 4414 came from TEH's 2-10-2 hmm maybe its just the smokebox but thats just me
They didn't, he kitbashed his own model for a fictional engine.
you what, m'nine?
Honestly, not a fan of that. Not so much the smoke deflectors, but that headlight is weird.
They may be most likely be based upon the GS-4 adaptations that Con-Cor N scale did.
The smoke deflectors do have a mesh error, 3DCrafter is building faces that aren't there, they should conform
to the running board position like the real FEFs. The light is something I built rather quickly, I'll probably update and change it later.
Ha, that is where I took the inspiration from. Kind of a, "What if the UP took over the SP in the 40s or 50s?" Kind of fictional scenario. I know they did a PRR one too, so I might make one of those as well.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!
Time for Alt History Part 4!
When the Union Pacific decided to re purpose the Hudsons for new tasks, the two sisters parted ways. #673 was retained and painted in Greyhound livery while #674 was painted all black. Even though offically designated for freight service, #674 would occasionally haul passenger trains as well, thanks to her high speed and excellent free steaming capabilities over long distances.
Here UP #674 leaves Cheyenne for Larime on a cold, rainy morning. From there an FEF will take over and continue the train all the way to Nebraska.
Nice night shot Don49PLM ! May I ask you which kuid number is the first and the third worker from the right hand side ?
Cheers!
Rail4Pete
Of coarse I wouldnt release it. Its a personal engine afterall.
