Steam train on fire

All ready i start haveing odd things happending and i just got 2009 take a look at this screen shot me train was going 139 kmps and came to a dead stop this is that happend.

Thats happened with me before, i dont know if its a bug, or that thats mean't to look like actual fire,
Also i see the driving wheels dis-appeared. Ive also had that problem,
Hopefully a fix is included in SP2 for 09.

When you said you were travelling at 139KM/H, did you turn the reverser fully backwards, usually the train comes to an immediate stop because of a problem (turning the reverser backwards straight away)

What did you do before it happened?

I had the same exact problem with several steam locomotives. I find it funny that not only do the drivers go flying off(if you are on a looping track with no derailments, they will come back around) but there is actually fire graphics.

yup "All Engens Full Reverser" :hehe: i think its a bug but it makes a grat screen shot. olny bad part is you can't drive it after this heppends.

Never had that happen to me when driving the UP bigboy in TRS06 but then again that's quality american craftsmanship for ya.

That has happened before, not the fire graphic but the wheels on the 844 flew off and somewhere it derailed across the map.
