Steam train help (Trainz 2009)

Hello,

I just bought trainz 2006 (sorry I put 2009 in the title, that's wrong) a few days ago, and I am really enjoying using the steam train, I've been practicing with it on the austrailian outback tutorial map.

One thing I am having problems with is the train speed. I've read various topics and tutorials on steam train tutorials on here, but I can't get the speed much past 40kmh. I'm not sure whether this train does not go beyond this speed, or if it is because I am doing something wrong.

I have my regulator at 100% and the cutoff at 75% to start with, then once the train has got to about 40kmh I reduce the cutoff to 35-40% but the train does not accelerate. My water level is usually between 60-75% and the boiler pressure is over 1000.

To register your serial number, click this link https://www.auran.com/planetauran/SN...rialnumber.php When you do, your copy of trainz that you registered will appear on that timeline that is empty.
