Steam railmotors

Ya, I know that we have railmotors for trainz. But has it ever occurred to you that all railmotors are either American or Australian? Also, has it occurred to you that all of them seem to be diesel and none powered by steam?

On the other hand, does anybody know of a good location to find steam railmotors?

I know that tbryson2 is/was working on the Jenny Lind as an inspection engine. I would have sworn I had seen something else when I was looking at all the narrow gauge stuff but I can't find it now.

It's not trainz but here's an example of Steam Rail Motor.

I'm pretty sure similar designs of this was also built in other Countries.

I think Trainz89 was building a steam railmotor.

Cheers.

Well, thanks.

But then again, that wasn't actually the typei was referring to. I was referring to ones that had a locomotive at one end, like the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway railmotors built by Hughes.

The Coffee Pot is the one I was trying to remember, Trainz89 is building it, hes got SS's in Australian Screen Shot Thread, not sure if he's abandoned it or moved house as he seems to be in Queensland now, last time he posted about the Coffee Pot he was in S.A.

But I don't really pay much attention to the forums as I'm rarely on.

Cheers.

Now that I think about it, I was given permission to create a railmotor from another locomotive. I won't mention who though, for personal reasons.

Yes, I can offically confirm that I am creating the South Australian Railways Coffee Pot Railmotor, she is at the present time working in trainz with invisible bogies. I am awaiting the drivers to return from narrowgauge.

I am hoping to have her working on the Pichi Richi Railway map.
