steam locmotives in music videos

Well, I seem to think Southern Railway 2-8-2 4501 (which is owned by the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum) was featured in Johnny Cash's "Hurt" by Johnny Cash...

One country song called "Long Black Train" that was out a few years back but can't remember who sang it.

Ah, good song. The singer was Josh Turner, and it featured TVRM 610.
While I do like the song, the music video kind of ruins it for me. I like my music to be good and without the religious message, thank you very much.

That, and as it features 610 as being an evil symbol, I automatically lmao.

Still a good song

Wait a minute. There was another Long black train that had a PRR S1 in it (Trainz sim used) and there was one called Sharks of the Pennsylvania Railroad which was all the news clips when thr PRR was testing the Duplexes. Good Mood Music in that video.

Duplexes Rule!!

(1940?-1945?)

 ..RR..

The music video to Aussie band The Waifs' song Bridal Train features ex WAGR Pacific Es 308 (the video was shot at Perth's Rail Transport Museum), including a ridiculous CG scene of it 'in steam', where the video designer forgot to include the tender and had it's footplate coupled directly to a carriage! There are also a couple of shots of W class 4-8-2 947 in very decrepit condition.

Still, it's a good song regardless (and I'm happy to West Australian trains featured in music videos :D).

are you say that the tvrm 4501 is only steamer that johnny cash run in his music video hurt?:)

Southern Railway 4501 was featured in Johnny Cash's "Hurt", but that wasn't what I was talking about. I was talking about "Long Black Train" by Josh Turner, which featured the TVRM's 610, not to mention was filmed on the line.

This is the link to "Long Black Train": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyRZTAmcW7c I suggest checking it out before posting nonsense... AGAIN
