Starting off with Content Manager! Help!

I downloaded Trainz Classics Vol.3 a few days ago.
I decided I would try and download a few things using Content Manager Plus.
I have tried again and again but can't get anything to work.
I need expert help!!

My problem is that when I add a download to the download helper and click 'start', it just starts 'searching' and the item highlights in red.


Somebody please help!

It happens when the CMP cannot find the DL on the DLS....

What should I do then?

I think I realise the problem. Content Manager can't connect to the Download Station.
I keep getting a message saying something like this: 'Can't find download. Can't find URL. Item can't be found in Download Station.'

I need help! As I can't download anything and there looks to be some really great stuff out there.

Please help!

At the top of this forum page is a link to the Download Station. Click it and search for what you want. Once found download it and the Download Helper should import it to CMP. If not then use FTP to download to a temp folder and then use CMP File Import .cdg function.

The link at the top of the page won't let me download.

What is this FTP download. Could someone explain?

Or does anyone have any other suggestions?

When you see a DLS search result that you want, you have 3 options:

Download (Helper)
Download Page
Add to Cart

Clicking Add to Cart will open the Planet Auran, Profile, Download page. Just to the right of the size value is an underlined link in blue labeled Download Page. Selecting it will open a new window with 2 options, Download (which will use the Download Helper) and Download (FTP). Selecting the FTP link will open more little windows that lets you chose to Save the fill. Save will let you pick a folder on your computer in which to save the file. Once saved you can use CMP File Import CDP to get the asset into TRS2006.
