Spreading the word about another forum

Is anyone hear aware of the SAXRT forums. Saxrt1 has given me permission to do this. I am trying to spread the word about this particular forum because on September 1st 2011, the domain for the SAXRT forums will expire. He is debating whether to renew the name and the license. If he decides to keep the forums open, he will make alot of changes to it. As of right now, he thinks that it is best to just shut down the site. All of your voices and votes matter. Saxrt1 is paying for this forum, so money is coming out of his pocket just so we can have this forum. I think this is a great forum compared to the other trainz forums. Him keeping the forums up all depends on your post count and recent activity. To be honest, I'd be pretty sad and upset to see this forum go. Some of my recent activity has taken place on that forum. I hope that this forum is still here when September 1st arrives.

So everyone who is reading this, please consider looking into the SAXRT forums, and if you like it, then join. Remember, each vote matters. I am really trying to spread the word so this forum won't die out. There is some activity going on in the SAXRT forums, but we would like it to be even more active. I am not being rude or anything, but for those that would like to join, please be as active as possible. Read the rules though, because they are a tad bit different compared to the other forums. Even though we are looking for more people and activity, don't just post something just to be posting it. Think before you post, and make sure it makes sense. I definitely vote to keep this forum up and running.

He PM'ed me a little while back about his forums and their rules. His rules do not allow profanity, etc., which is good. These official Trainz forums do have a rule in the CoC prohibiting profane language, butI still see it anyway, mostly "minor" (oh, sure) profanities and/or profanities that have been minced up with leetspeak, censoring, or what have you. So his rules which are strict on stuff like this are good to see. I looked at the forums after he PM'ed me and I give the place a positive review, although I do not want to join at this time. Sorry to hear that his forum's future is in jeopardy.

Kind regards,

Retro.

Would it make sense to post a link to said website, if you are trying to drive traffic there?

Certainly worth a look at folk's if your in the area, I like the new look Sam. Great job mate.
Cheers Mick.

Gents, A while back the SAXT forums went off line for about two weeks. I am saddened to say that no one bothered to let anyone know that it's back up. Yes this does include me as well. As site owner, I have to responsibility for this. Also lately I have noticed a great reduction in activity. I would like to personally invite everyone back. Also we have a very new forum, so you may want to check us out. All we ask is that you give us a chance.

PS. Considering this pertains to my site, I think it's ok if I bump this thread as I felt that is was needed

Great news as we do need an emergency backup forum where we can all get in touch, when the N3V forums go down for a weekend (fortunately not receintly).

I don't know who makes the evolution locomotive, and don't care. What a stupid question to ask to register. I'll just hang out here. Thanks

Jaxter,
Man thankyou so much for that feedback. That is exactly what I need to here. While the question will remain, due to your comment, the question has been altered so that answer is in the question.
Also the question is not stupid. As explained right next to the question, it is there to prevent the site from being spammed. If you don't like the question you are more than welcome to remain here, or send me a PM here and I can register you.
