Splines not working

You may want to click that red error button on the bottom right of your screenshots and find out what the problem is, in case it relates to your splines which as there doesn't seem to be anything on the board it may well do.

If you centre the spline in Gmax on the X co-ordinate, that should sort out the misalignment.

Hi clam,

The red button in the bottom right isn't to do with that, the screenshots are taken on a plain piece of my WSR layout. Its equal lengths in Gmax on the X axis too. thanks anyway though

It's not equal lengths it's equal distance either side of the X axis. You can see from your screenshots that the circles are not central to the splines width

left <----------{spline centred on X axis}----------> right.

Where left distance from X equals Y distance from X.

I think you have mesh length 2 in the config, it's hard to be sure from your gmax screenshot but your object looks to be more that 2m in length...

I think i know what you mean clam, and if it is heres a pic explaining it:

The beige coloured rectangle is the exact same size at one end than the other. in other words, they are both an equal distance away from the X axis.

Wrong axis, your measurement needs to be across the open ends not the sides.

Working in 2d view is far easier for sorting out problems like this.

Oh, i know why i got confused, what the screenshot showed at the top of the page and what i was thinking of are two seperate things:hehe: . sorry. heres what i mean:
