When I launch Trainz 12 driver my default speed is 40mph. How do I increase this default speed.
I have tried different track, different engines and put speed signs on track; no difference. :'(
The default speed will always be 40mph, however once your train passes a speed sign, the limit will change. Invisible ones are available should you not want a visible speed sign in a particular place on your route.

...Also, put the speed limit sign 2-3 units up FROM THE REAR of the train. This lets the speed limit up date as the last unit passes the sign and before the train reaches good momentum. IE: 5-10 Mph or the Kmph equivalent.
