SP1: Is It Worth It?

Easy solution, get PEV's MeshViewer app, install, open the offending *.im file and have it create a thumbnail image for you.

What issues do you have with Mesh Viewer (and CCP by the looks of things as well)?

Arguments between Windows 8, the program, and the graphics card. Worked fine under 7. Since upgrading to 8, those 2 programs quit working.

Couldn't run TS12 with reasonable frame rates before or after SP1. SP1 is not for me. I now run TS2010. 'Nuff said.

Ah yes. I believe PEV is still trying to sort out a fix for your Mesh Viewer issue, but for CCP you need to make sure you have .NET Framework 2.0 installed (if it will let you).

JacktheKitty - you will find that it is the business of others to verify that a user is not using an illegal copy of Trainz (and the only way that can be proven is by having your serial numbers registered on your profile). As JCitron has advised you on another thread, if you have multiple accounts, get Helpdesk to merge them together.

Still non of your business or anyone elses on this forum, including moderators.

My account is solely my concern, which versions of Trainz i have registered and own, is my business.

My account details are the exclusive concern of myself and N3V.

Is it starting to sink in now.

Whiilst it may not directly be our business, it is our "concern". People without registered serial numbers on display are generally deemed as having an illegitmate copy of the software until proven otherwise, so you are unlikely to get much help here as the majority don't think much of software piracy.

Mind, with your turn of phrase, you probably aren't likely to get much help any way. Is it starting to sink in yet?

Jack; Don't you have any little friends you could play with? The adults here won't take you seriously until you register at least one of your many, many versions of Trainz.

Cheers....Rick
