Oh, well I wouldn't know because I live on the Gold Coast. But to my knowledge, the only Australian cities still using a tram network are Melbourne and Adelaide.
Brisbane had one, but got rid of it (shame on you!:hehe: )
and so did Sydney, that's just got the Darling Harbour monorail now.
Hobart I would have no idea,
Darwin is a bit small for any kind of rail network except maybe the Ghan,
and Perth is the other side of the continent, I wouldn't have a clue if they have trams.

So yes, michaelc, Adelaide or Melbourne?:o

You could say that Melbourne and Adelaide are smart cities, because they didn't "do away" with their tramways.

Hobart has trams? I would never have guessed. Okay, thankyou for the trivia. Adelaide, Melbourne and Hobart all have tram systems.:)

Three out of eight capital cities though, not a great score. Oh, having thought of it, doesn't Sydney have some sort of City Circle?

Sydney has LRV trams that run on a small line through the city (you can sometimes see it from the monorails).

Still three out of eight. Come on Australia! Brisbane, there was nothing wrong with your tram system, it spread the length and breadth of the current CityTrain network, and you axed it! I despise rail-ripper-upper-ers.:n:

Just voicing my opinion.

Michaelc, I think it may be time for some progress shots now, before this goes too far off topic.

Happy Trainzing,;)
Scott.
