Something About The Water . . . .

I've been wondering about the water levels and how they could change as far as dropping one edge for the effect of
a sloping waterfall. I have seen one route where the guy had made the edge of the water dip and continue to be connected
to the rest of the lake or stream.
Does anyone know how that works ??

In TANE if you lay water at one height adjacent to water of another it will join them up with a short slope. This feature can be quite tricky to get the effect you desire, especially as any use of the height adjustment tool causes the water to all become the same height. You also cannot lay water at a new height in an area which already has water, you must start in an area with no water and work in toward the area of differing height.

I suggest you open surveyor in TANE and play with the water tools, that's probably the best way to discover what happens!
