Some railway themed videos that maybe will usefull for content creators .

We need this line in Trainz. Much prettier and more interesting scenically than Sebino.
I'm watching this video right now on my second display. What a beautiful rail route with the steep valleys and viaducts. I can see this being a pain to build though. I agree. A route based on this line could easily one-up Sebino, not that Sebino Lake isn't well done and is quite beautiful.

The HW&S almost lost its rail line a few years ago. A bunch of wealthy lakeside residents in Laconia, New Hampshire were paying influence to their state congressmen to have the line removed in favor of a rail trail. The railroad brought everything to court and won the case because the line also carries freight and is state owned. I've never been on a ride but I've driven past the railroad headquarters in Laconia. This line was once part of an extensive network of branch lines around Lake Winnipesaukee once owned by the Boston and Maine Railroad and were once part of the Boston, Concord, and Montreal.

I don't but I do know some members including the VP and former VP of the B&M Carl Byron. It's one of those things that ends up as yet another thing to do and becomes more of an obligation than something that's enjoyable.

The society has some interesting videos on YouTube about abandoned lines, operations, and equipment.
