Some help with substitutions...

Hello everyone,
Am currently working on a railway in surveyor based loosely around the Bermuda Railway - a lot of what I've needed has been available both on the DLS and other freeware sites, but I'm a little stuck getting hold of a couple of locomotive / rolling stock items which have a similar feel. Below I'll post some links to photos from the Bermuda Railway pages (which are a lovely read, by the way) and would appreciate any help that could be given in finding reasonable substitutions in the maze that can be the DLS and internet in general:

I'm happy with the general passenger and freight stock substitutions I'm thinking of using and reskinning once work on the layout is finished (with suitable permissions of course). But could really use help finding some subs for the things posted above.

Many thanks to everyone,

Robertd81.

P.S. Loving building this route and can't wait for the day when the Rhum Islands Railway can finally be uploaded to the DLS for everyone to share.

Hi Robert

AFAIK there is nothing remotely similar to any of those delightful little railcars available in Trainz.

Posting a general request to content creators might be a thought, somebody might get on board...

Andy :)

Thanks mate, not drawing much luck on these myself either... not comfortable asking someone to make these (wish I had the resources for the computer and software to do it myself, but am stuck with only being able to reskin things), it usually results in a "go make it yourself" style response (and don't really blame people for that)!

A lot of the NSWGR stuff on DLS is close in feel, so perhaps I'll stick to using those. Shame though, the power freight vans and so on really are 'cute' aren't they? If anything come up though please do let me know, and I'll be posting links to anything I find if/when I do.

Appreciate the response, all the best.:)

Peace
Robertd81.
