Soft shadows in Trainz?

So I'm really liking the game so far, but, I was questioning myself why Trainz has sharp shadows instead of soft. Soft shadows are realisticer and look a bit nicer on the eye imo, so my question is, is this coming to a future Trainz update/release? Just really curious to know.

See the thread on lighting.... You can fix that now. Sun causes shadows. Reduce Sunlight and bring up the brightness slider to compensate and the shadows will now be more grey/gray and transparent.
