Snow over non-seasonal textures?

This is very specific.
I found a texture I like a lot. It fits perfectly the geography and environment of some of my routes. But... it's not seasonal. No snow when snow altitude is set to ground level. Some textures next to it, which are seasonal, get covered in snow.
Am I left with no other choice but to pick another texture? Or is there a way of getting a snow coverage on top of that texture, without erasing it? Textures are not linked to route or session layers, otherwise that would be a solution.

Really appreciate if you have a suggestion.

Thanks
TM

I suggest contacting the creator of the texture. Maybe they are willing to add it.

Who's texture are you talking about? Maybe you have a KUID for us?

you had the same issue back in November 22, 2022... Here is what i would do if i was you, Do a Bulk Asset Replace and Update of the texture you want to replace and i have found several PBR textures that are seasonal and use the search feature for PBR Seasonal and see what you can find.. there is alot of PBR assets that are seasonal so i would look there first. for track have you tried the new JR track that was just released as freeware there are some good textures that come with it so those are your two options. hope this helps

It's JohnnyC1's kuid2:473136:104964:1
Johhnyc1 is constantly making and issuing new texture sets. He is a very nice guy, who would very likely be open to making a seasonal version of a texture.
However, the texture you're referring to is already seasonal in a slightly different base texture

<kuid2:473136:104036:3> PBR Grass Mixed 12 (seasonal) is nearly identical to
both versions of PBR Grass Mixed 64 that Johnnyc1 has made

<kuid2:473136:104964:1> PBR Grass Mixed 64
<kuid:473136:105551> PBR Grass Mixed A64

He also has quite a few good PBR snow textures available, some of which are grassy-ish

Thanks, that provided some help, not directly - I didn't use any of the textures you suggested, but I did find another one by JohnnyC1 that might fit my needs.
I also contacted JohnnyC1 through these forums to ask for a seasonal version of the texture I had first chosen.
Finally, snow textures don't help, because I would need to place them on session layers, not on the route, and that's not possible.

What is the kuid of the JR track you mention?

TM
TM go to Jointed Rails Website which you will need a Free account to download and in the Freeware section the track should be the very first one to download click on that and select download but watch out for the Ad popups to happen don't click on them..... JR's content is really good compared to RRmods... hope this helps
