Is there a way to adjust how high the ground comes up on a spline when using the smooth spline tool? I would like for the ground to come up half on an embankment instead of the very bottom or the very top.
I don’t think it works like that. You might need to do it in 2 steps. First lay the spline at the height you want the ground to come to and use the smooth tool. Then adjust the spline up to the height you want it to be.
@Dinorius_Redundicus is correct. The smooth spline tool will bring the ground up to reach the current spline height. I just tested his suggested solution and it works.

I was just wondering if there was a way in the embankment(s) I'm using, config file, to adjust the default height the ground snaps to when the smooth spline tool is used. If not, I'm definitely going to try your trick.
I would not play around with the config.txt settings of any asset, unless there was no other alternative which there is in this case, for any number of reasons.
