The lower the colour, the whiter the smoke. Fro pure white smoke set the first three numbers to 0. 255 is black smoke. Anything in between is ranging from white to grey to black.Hey guys
I want to make white smoke, anyone know the color code for it?

Thought someone might say that...Captainkman,
As a Queenslander you might be interested in this. At a state high school recently, I was informed that spelling isn't important. If spelling was rigid, we would all still be speaking like Shakespeare. Thee, thy thou etc. I was told "language is constantly evolving"!
Don't get me wrong, I hate 'lazy' spelling, such as used in texting and in advertising, but there is nothing we can do about it. I've seen several of your forum posts picking up spelling mistakes, and I wonder how old are the posters, and what kind of education have they. Picking on them in a public forum is unkind.
They may not have had the opportunities in life you did. Lets all just stick to Trainz, and mate, have a Happy New Year. Concentrate on what is important, ignore that which is not.
Cheers

So much for phonetics. That is why I am paying my 8 year old granddaughter's tuition to a private school where she is learning proper English and spelling as well as other necessary basics to survive in life. Just because the world is going to hell (and rather quickly I'm afraid), it does not mean that we all have to go with it. Sorry if my rant offends anyone

Now back to the original topic. The smoke color will be determined by the Red, Green and Blue numbers (RGB) that you use. These will be the first three numbers in the color tag of your smoke container. The lower the numbers, the whiter the smoke. Pure white would be 0,0,0,255. The fourth number in the set of numbers is the initial opacity / transparency of the particles of smoke with 255 being completely opaque.

Respectfully disagree. I know you've been doing this for a longer time than I, but I set my steam colors to was 255,255,255,255 and smoke colors to 30,25,25,180, little more red in my smoke to give it a brownish cast. The higher the number, the brighter it is, not the other way around.
Be careful. In 7th grade the primary colors for water colors or paint are yellow, magenta and cyan so if you mix cyan with yellow you get green. In the computer world we mix emitted light (colors) so the primary colors are red, green and blue. If you mix blue and green you get cyan. If you want more info see http://www.diycalculator.com/sp-cvision.shtmlahh I starting to get the math part of it good thing I have grad 7 math skills.
If i got it right maxing green with blue gives you brown and and in red so to make wight add light colors and higt dents shode predose pure wight.
Thanks its starting to make scents.![]()
