Sinking wheels.

I've just realized, all of a sudden many (but not all) of my rolling stock have their wheels digging into the track kinda deep. This applies to seemingly random assets, not just one particular truck. For example, car A has truck A and car B has truck A. But car A has the sunk wheels while car B doesn't.

I don't remember doing anything strange to Trainz recently, just normal route-building. Anyone knows what's going on?

Nicholas.

The bogey height is governed by the height of a.bog0 etc in the mesh. Note all meshes use the same height on these attachment points, different bogeys require different height attachment points.

Translation you need to be careful when replacing bogeys.

There seems to be a little misunderstanding here.
The bogeys in question were of the correct height before. That is, after I swapped them. Between then and now, something happened and some of them are sinking into the rails. Granted, it doesn't really affect driving, but still sort of bugs me when I see the trains up close.

Cheerio,

Did I not tell you 2 weeks ago it was not going to work....Bet you checked in the railyard how they looked after changing the bogies and not on the track you use on your route ????

I re quote myself from 2 weeks ago

Do not try this it will all end in tears

Bogeys hang down from an attachment point on the mesh, they don't sit on the rails. If they are designed for a different height of attachment point they will be either too high or too low.

Best to learn from mistakes and move on, just do not do it again, all is forgiven.

Been on the fourms since community edition and your not the first to ask advice and then done the opposite only to come a cropper and then had to ask the fourms then how to fix it.

Been there done that myself a few times, just theres not many of the the old boys to kick me in that pants on here anymore to keep me on track.
