Signals on the N&W

I hope this it the right place to ask, so what would be the best N&W signals to use on my N&W route? I would also like to know what is a good way to start signals on a route. I haven't done any yet, so have no idea how to do it. Thanks in advance.

RRSignal has a complete batch of any N&W style CPL or PL signal you would want. Look him up on the DLS.

Ok I downloaded the rrsignals N&W signals, but how do I tell what to use and where? There not marked if there a 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,or 8 so I have no idea how to use them. Did he have a post when he was making them and explained how they worked? Thanks in advance.
