Signals, bushes and grass.

Hello world.

I am using the searchlight signals from Rrmods, and some things baffle me.
While I have yet to extensively test AI behavior (detailing is incomplete, more on that later), I noticed the following oddities.

04 and 05 signals, which I assume to be the equivalent of the default USA/USA2 04 home and 05 distant signals, give either:
Clear,
Clear for two blocks,
Train occupying, and
Line ahead unsignalled.

When I put an 04 just before a trailing set of points set against it, it shows "Line ahead unsignalled" instead of "Line terminates or is closed". Why is this so?

I have assumed as well that the 06 LD and RD signals mean left divergence and right divergence respectively, and are the equivalent of the 02L and 02 signals. Correct?

Also, how do I signal three-way divergences? I'm using the 08 signals with three coronas but I am doubting that is incorrect usage.

Maybe not with you, but here I am, with all firewalls and anti-virus shut down and password re-entered umpteen times, still unable to download from DLS.

All I wanted was a few Jankvis vegetation. Not some mega-route!

Anyway, can somebody point me to a third-party site which provides similar grass and shrubs? I doubt they'll look as nice as Jankvis', but it's better than nothing.

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

signals

I had the same problem, I use 04 the signal without the name plate at all junctions and use 05 with name plate as distant signals, or you can just use signals without the name plate, and it works just fine for me

How about three-way divergences? Do I use 06LD/06RD signals?
And is there a third party site where I can get grass and shrubs?

Signals definitely do not work to prototype in TS2009.
I'm using the Safetran signals, some single wo name plate, others triple gantry mounted.
The best indication I can get is "line ahead clear for two blocks", but for some reason when the next signal is also a triple, I only get one block clear at the previous signal.

The signals apparently do not recoginze a train approaching until it gets a certain distance from the signal. I have two interlockings, 3 miles apart and I never get anything but triple red on the approach until the train is way past the preceeding signal.
If this were true prototype, I would get a clear indication on all interlocking signals that have been cleared.
Problem is, there is no CTC in TS.

So, which number signal do i correctly use for three-way divergences? 06 ones seem to do the job well but it's nice to do something proper, even if it's a freeform.

Also, I've yet to receive reply where else other than *coughcrappycough* DLS I can get shrubs and grass?

Cheerio,
Nicholas.
