signalling problem

hello all
i have been recently modifying a route for my own personal use im using nsw signalling concepts and diagrams
the problem i have is that the line splits into 4 tracks from 2 the diverge signal shows a double yellow when its is set for the diverge which i would expect ,
but the dilemma i face is that the signal before the diverge signal displays a double green aspect , now this seems a bit strange as i would expect a more restrictive aspect eg.green over red as a warning to the diverge ahead

is there a way so the aproach signal shows a double more restrictive signal? eg green over red

any help appriciated

Hi,

Does the signal have that option. Where is the approach signal placed? within the same block or prior to the block? As It may make a difference. Also do you have a track mark in between the two signals?

I've had that problem with some of the Safetran signals. I found that sometimes, it makes no rhyme or reason, I'd place an invisible signal a little ways down the track opposite of the goofy signal. It works! Just a suggestion that maybe you can try.

Which signal are you using as the 'approach' sig and which sig are you using to protect the junction? Are you certain the deverge sig script is set up correctly in its properties dialogue box? Screenies of all the above would help....
