Signaling a turnout

Thai1On

Slave to my route
I have my mainline finished on v2.0 of my route and I want to signal and trouble shoot it before moving forward. My first choice of signals is Senior Chiefs 3 light semaphores next is his N&W cpl 02 and 04 or Prr 02 and 04 signals. Is it possible to use the 3 light semaphore to protect this switch below? If not how can I use either of the other 2 choices? On a side note is it possible to use both throughout the route? This route is being built TS 2012

Is it possible to use the 3 light semaphore

The answer is a big NO, because 3 light & semaphore do not go together, they are 2 totally
seperate systems of signalling, you can have either but not both, as a signal.
See here ...... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Railway_semaphore_signal

One of the earliest forms of fixed railway signal is the semaphore. These signals display their different indications to train drivers by changing the angle of inclination of a pivoted 'arm'. Semaphore signals were patented in the early 1840s by Joseph James Stevens, and soon became the most widely-used form of mechanical signal. Designs have altered over the intervening years, and colour light signals have replaced semaphore signals
