signaling a three way junction

How are three way junctions signaled in the real world and can that be transposed into Trainz?

We already have a diverging left and diverging right state in MOSignal. Can they be combined into a single signal?

It depends what signal types you are using...
For UK style semaphores, there exist (both real and in trainz) 3 post signals that use the different arms to indicate the different routes. In trainz these are setup exactly like a two post version using left diverge, straight ahead and right diverge markers on the lines ahead.

OK, so it can be combined in one signal, great. How about lights? Are there signal lights for three way junctions on the DLS? Looked by didn't recognize any if they are there.

For a specific example, see the link to the Chicago L near tower 18. There are several signals visible. One three light between the tracks. On the right is another three light with a two light underneath. Looking at the blades, it looks like the path is set for a left diverging route. According to the CTA Railfan guide, the top light is for the mainline and the bottom (s) are for the diverging routes so from the picture, the middle is for the diverging left and the bottom for the diverging right. Do I see this correctly? Is a dark light the same as a red?

Light signals = Sig (W) or Sig (BR) are the ones you need. They only appear as a single light but when placed they will automatically become a diverge signal together with the feathers can create many types of signal.

What I found were Sig BR(W) and they all appear to be semaphore signals, at least those I saw as I quickly went through the list. Didn't find any Sig (W) names. Do you have a KUID handy?

Sorry search author 60850 Bloodnok you will see sig 3A etc these all work the same way as the semaphore and use his feathers to tell the signal which route is set.
