Right ive just started my first proper route. It's one board at the moment. Ive laid the track. Now ive added a Crossover. I put a signal on the Southbound track this signal works. When I added one to the Northbound track it didn't work. Here's a pic. Ive taken the point that wasn't working out and put it back in with no joy. Can anyone help me with this.

Its hard to tell what the rest of your route is like but if you want the "feather" (junction indicator) to light up for the crossover when you move the points then the signal needs to "see" another signal on the crossover line.If you download Signal Invisible (sorry can"t remember the KUID) and place it on the Crossover the signal will work correctly. When you make ANY route the track ahead of the signal needs to either a) join up to another line or b)end at a Rail End-otherwise the signal will stay red, If you hover the Cursor over the signal and right click on it a message will tell you why the signal is red.

For the signals to show correctly, you have to signal all three approaches to the junction. That is where the invisible signal mentioned above comes in. You could try using dwarf signals on the inside tracks to give you a visible idea of how it works, then replace the dwarfs with the invisible signals.

thanks ill give this a shot. As im new i didn't realise you had to have the invisible signal or the rail ends. Thanks to everyone.
Well after placing the signal invisible everything works.
