Signal Problem

This is the first time inserting a signal in Trainz 12. As you can tell, I have no idea how to correctly paste url images. But hopefully you can see my problem. I used a Signal USA 02 here. I did check the signal using the Junction Direction J thing.
I tried using Signal 03. If I remember correctly, I got a double red instead of Green/Red down the main. The main line is clear all the way around the test track. Did I pick a wrong car that is in the siding? Remember something about using a Babe Ruth car maybe? Any help appreciated.

It's been a while since I used these but I think Signal USA 02 is for right divergence and Signal USA L02 for left.

EDIT: I have to agree with the posts below that there's probably something funky with your junction. Even with an 02 instead of an L02, you should still get a red/red for the siding and a red/green for the main. The only difference the L02 should make is to give you a high green for the main.

Re-lay your junction, even though the junction arrow is showing left diverge, the junction in reality is straight ahead, that is why you have a green into the siding which is occupied.

Place a spline point before the diverge and use straighten tool on it. You need to do this on all diverges that happen on a bend.

After adding the new spline points of both the siding and the main where signals are located - things got a lot better. Now the only problem is on this end. The top is still red and I am lined up down the main. At the opposite end of the main - there is now a clear signal. So how is this color problem corrected? JohnnyC1 - I am not quite sure of the term junction. Are you referring to replacing the switch points - or the siding? Thank all of ya'll for the help.

Those spline points are not important. The spline point that is important is putting one before the diverge (the single track) and then use the straighten tool on that small piece of track. Any diverge created on a curve will always have this signal problem as the inner track will always cross the outer track before it connects. Zoom in very close to the diverge and you will see the track cross over.
