Granted, but it doesn't mean you'll legally get a copy. It looks like he's skinning it off a JR ES44.

Well he's reskinning JR's freeware KCS ES44, since that's freeware, he could maybe get permission to release it.

Someone pointed this out. I am reskinning the KCS ES44AC. I started from scratch creating a blank map, did some reworking on the textures and heres what we have. Also, understand, I wont release without JR's permission (which is extremely unlikely to ever happen) and still, with the slightest chance they do give me permission, (which they won't) I'm afraid we have too many rivet counters and I really am not in the mood to get their crap IF ​They allow me too. (which I said, it wont so dont get your hopes up)

I think people will LOVE this if you release with permissions. There is also a bunch of stuff released all over the web that have been raveged by Rivet-counters. I wouldn't be afraid of them. *cough cough rivet counter.... 817taylor*

Thank john. I will keep that in mind. Its just that I will get more hate because of the wrong things on the unit than some compliments on the right things. I appreciate all compliments and feedback. So thanks.

that's obvious, I am just implying you should not assume what you said, retract that statement... he is making great reskins with freeware for himself... from what I can tell.
