The telltale sign of an RS-3 vs RS-2 is the position of the battery box. On an RS-2, there is no battery box seen from the outside of the unit, but on an RS-3, the battery box is tucked away behind either side of the cab against the short hood (what appears to be a large elongated step / box to those who aren't familiar with the smoke belching behemoths). That is the only noticeable difference between the two models.
It's a shame the T&P only had one. The color scheme looks so stunning!

Yes, I can see the absence of the battery box. OK...it's going to bug me no end now, where before I had no idea of the difference.

And yes, I really like the T&P Swamp Holly orange scheme as well, it would look good on virtually anything, I think. (Hmmm...I wonder...
