They certainly have dropped off, but realize it is probably a side job for a few guys and often the "real" stuff sometimes piles up. Perhaps they'll just say, go ahead and upload to the DLS and give us credit and we'll be cool at somepoint, but until then, I guess I will have fun reskinning stuff that I cannot share, but maybe someday. Here is the real one I photographed in 1985 in Bad Axe, MI.
The paint scheme was heritage to the Pere Marquette RR E7s and BL2s. Though the BL2s were painted with C&O, they were ordered by the PM prior to the C&O's take over in 1947. No longer does Rail America (Genesee & Wyoming now) / Huron and Eastern have this color paint scheme... too time consuming and expensive I guess. A nice CSX heritage untion like this would be awesome. Gets me thinking of another reskin of and F unit. Too bad there are no E7s for a good reskin.
