Dallas Transfer Company GP9. In 1983, this railroad was created to manage the high levels of traffic in and around the Dallas area, serving Union Station and the surrounding yards and towns all the way into Fort Worth, Garland, Rowlett and Rockwall Texas along unused (and abandoned) MKT and RI trackage. The company was folded into the Union Pacific system in 2019 after 36 years of profitable service.

Yes, and the fact that the RPPX GP9 comes pretty much undecorated is a great starter for a good reskin. Only challenging bit was getting the nose and cab to line up, but it’s very straightforward. Thanks for the complement. Maybe I can give this to Wearsprada, NS37 or other JR creators and have them put it on the site as clubcar freeware or something, maybe as a pack with other DTC engines. Just a thought…
