Showing off 4 racks (of many). I've practiced my hand at weathering as well as applying different textures for the side screens.

First up is a representation of partially enclosed bi-levels as owned by CP Rail in the 540202-540299 series. The prototype were 97 flat cars that were fitted with bi-levels by NSC in 1978.

Next is a Conrail Tri-level on a MDAX (Merchants Despatch) flat car still in NYC Jade Green. New York Central and later Penn Central in the 60s opted to lease flat cars from this subsidiary. Conrail inherited the company and gradually patched out the MDAX markings and renumbered them in to their own series.

Next is a worn looking Chessie B&O TTKX rack meant to represent a car that was originally built as a KTTX car in the mid-60s that was updated in the 1970s.

Finally we have a Louisville & Nashville TTRX car meant to represent those built by Paragon and BSC.

I recently posted over on the "Show Off Your Routes" thread a screenshot of my progress on the Blackwell Northern Gateway railroad. Here's a locomotive I skinned up for that route, which hasn't had any work done on it in several days. I should really get back to that...

EWLX 1617 is an EMD GP7, built for the CB&Q in 1953, currently stationed on the BNG.

Arcade & Attica RR (ARA)

Been doing some more work on my Arcade & Attica route while I wait for the last piece of my new machine to arrive.

ARA 114 at the halfway point of a 2-hour excursion to Curriers, NY.

ARA 14 simmering away in front of the Arcade & Attica's engine house.

I can't wait to build my new computer and run Trainz 2019 at max performance. You know it's bad when all of the recommended hardware for Trainz 2019's lowest performance settings sound like a really nice upgrade to your current computer! :hehe:

Edit to avoid confusion: ARA 14 is currently in storage and ARA 114 is currently not in existence.

when I do reskins on my new computer, I feel like outsourcing my reskin work to my other computer (by uploading copied texture images in PNG form to Google Drive (not sharing the links) and downloading them to my other computer (deleting them from drive as soon as I download the upload), then as soon as the work is done, I upload to Drive again, and download to the other computer (also deleting the finished work from drive after downloading), paste onto the texture i'm working on, and saving and committing)

Cool reskins johnnyc1. The CF7 was a good choice for a shortline. It has a face only a shortline could love :)

I assume there's a good reason for that? New computer doesn't support the older programs such as Paint.NET and Attachment Maker? Otherwise that seems like a lot of extra work!

That's very nice and I do like them a lot!

My favorite privatized Great Western livery would have to be the original InterCity Great Western "Merlin" livery which lasted a few years before First bought that company up and painted them into the reskin you made.

well the reason why is because my other computer has Photoshop and other Creative Cloud products and I don't feel like licensing it to another computer in the house. My new computer has Windows 10 and it does support both those programs
