I think I am finally satisfied with the paint scheme...

Added weathering and switched out some colors, looks a lot better and a lot more shortline-ish from the last one in my opinion.
May change the color of the grab irons though.
EDIT: Okay, I am 99% sure that I am satisfied now. ;)

I would suggest it lowering the saturation on the navy blue texture, it looks really over-saturated and dark. Also, the baking where the high headlight used to be is an issue...i'd suggest patching over it or cleaning it up, it's a bit weird.

Thank you for your suggestions!

As with the headlight, it was the same situation with the handbrake on the side of the nose, which I figured out how to fix pretty easily after the last post.
All due to the fact that the original model was JR's BNSF SD40-2, which has a dark green / black color in those areas.
Fortunately, I was able to fix that issue as well.

Took your suggestion with the saturation as well, and it does in fact look a lot better.

Norfork & Southern Railroad GP-38R (rebuilt) No 5668 (ex N&W 4135) sits in Norfork, Arkansas. The locomotive carries 'GTCX' for Gurtantown Central, which leases surplus locos as a side business (besides their California Class III operation of 100+ miles of ex-SP & ATSF track). This unit started as a play on all the errors people make when referring to Norfolk Southern Railway Co.

I'm currently barred from releasing reskins on Chris's models, however Dan's cooking up some stuff that I think will be a nice update to what we currently have (but that's top secret, I never said anything). It's probably for the best though, there's only so much you can do with a direct MSTS export, the model was great in it's day but it's kinda dated.

That route is my rebuild of Anywhere Ohio by Ericmp, but lately it's been looking less and less like AO as I change things around.

The Norfork & Southern Railroad, operating tourist trips from Norfork, Arkansas (Baxter County) to Buffalo City, and on weekends, Cotter, Arkansas. These are roughly 20 and 25 mile trips, respectively.

The N&SRR operates as a tourist subsidiary of the Gurtantown Central Railroad (GTCRR) in California, operating over the freight line of the Missouri & North Arkansas Railway (former Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific). All locos and coaches carry 'GTCX' reporting marks, being leased from the main GTCRR fleet, all of which wear red ad white, except for the caboose, which is a full GTCRR registered vehicle.

Former Norfolk Southern/Southern Railway GP50 No 7022 in 3rd gen (post 2004) N&SRR paint is behind.

GP-38R (rebuilt to chop nose) No 5668 (ex-N&W 4135) in 3rd gen paint, as delivered NS paint with N&SRR details and GTCX markings added. N&SRR rebuilt the loco to have a low nose light.

N&SRR operates with 5 GTCX ex-Clinchfield Budd open window lightweights (modified in the 1960s/1970s with bus windows) in Pullman-styled green, as well as an ex-Troop Sleeper as a Commissary.

And on the end, a GTCRR Wide-Vision Caboose carrying N&SRR diamonds but full GTCRR, California Line markings. On paper this caboose is "waiting transport back to California", which the head office does rather than repainting and re-registering the car as GTCX for leasing to the N&SRR subsidiary operation.
