Here's the start to several Alco reskins. I have 4 M&E Alcos in the works (2 clean and 2 weathered.) Here's what you can call the test bed of the 4, C-424 #18. Also did somebody mention Delaware-Lackawanna Alcos........

Reskin and remapping...Baked Zapperjet's old SW8 and skinned it up as Strasburg 8618.

The trucks came out so well, they almost look like they're by a different person than the loco.

Took the High Detailed track from JR, and gave it a few light coats of grey which turned it to this color, and then I did the same with the ballast.

Finished products! Pictured is the three versions of #1200. One is freshly painted, second BM&R unit is faded and lightly weathered and the third is in Reading Company paint. For those that don't know the BM&R was the Reading & Northern before the purchase of the "Anthracite Cluster" from Conrail. These units were painted up in the late 80s to service the railroads state owned lines in Kutztown, Emmaus and Boyertown.
