That looks great! Is it a reskin of one loco and another's tender? I love doing that.

Also, In other words, it is the biggest small locomotive.

Tender was blanked and made by Steve Lerro at K&L.


The reason I gave it that title is because the line the locomotive is intended to serve is a branch line. The Mikado is one of a handfull of locomotives on the C&HR that are dedicated to the Willows line, which is a line that runs from Rosewood to Prescott which has (will have in future variants of the route) a locomotive facility balloon loop and other railroad facilities as well as a yard. The purpose of the Willows line is to serve all the mountain's coal mines. Trains run from Prescott to Rosweood loaded, but trains to Rosewood are made in Prescott.

I am hoping to release the Mike with the rest of the route however I am not sure as of right now how that is going to work with the tender being a reskin of a payware locomotive.

I think my favorite thing about these engines is the fact that some of the Southern lettering and striping still shows through, like an actual hasty paint job with sub-par paint. I really like lease locomotives with that look.
