Should I install 2009, if I have 2010?

Hi, I bought 2009 back when it came out(digital download from Auran). And I just got a new computer. And I just redownloaded 2009 again, while it was downloading, I was reading about 2010 and desided to buy it also!

Should I even install 2009? Is all the new stuff in 2009, also included in 2010? I'm kinda out of the loop, its been probably 1.5yrs since I've played trainz.

If you are getting 10 I can see no point in installing 09. I have both, and 09 is the only version of Trainz I own which is not installed. Not that there is anything wrong with 09 per-se, it's just that it does nothing 10 doesn't do better....

Thanks Andy, I'll just wait till 2010 finishes downloading, kinda sucks only dl at 180kb when I have 7mb connection!

Installing 09 after installing 10 can present it's own problems - it's due to a registry glitch (they both seem to share the same registry data) which may make one or the other not behave correctly. The same issue sometimes affects TRS2006.

Thanks Shane for that info, but would thier be a reason to install 09 after having 2010 installed? Does the 2010 version have all the new items, like the new sd-40 and what about those high rez textures that came with 09? Does 2009 have anything not in 2010 version?
