Short UK Branch Line/Industrial Line

Learning... slowly!
Hi All,

I've got some beautiful routes in T:ANE but most are longer main-line runs (Duchy Days, Sheff - Leeds etc). Can anyone recommend a good layout for running smaller tank engines? Something like a country branch line would be ideal, or an industrial route. I do already have Ashburton which is lovely, but quite a lot of the trees don't work in T:ANE.

I've got a fair few 0-4-0s including PaulHobbs' Y7, recently released to the DLS, and a few 0-6-0s which I'd like to find more suitable routes for aside from just shunting duties.

Thanks!

I have a few shorter routes on the DLS, in particular for the UK my fictional extension of the Swindon and Cricklade Railway (former M&SWJR):

30024:100068

I've got Duchal moor which is narrow gauge on the Southern Uplands:

30024:20048:1

Or try Highland Link which is a fictional cross country route in, erm, the Highlands...

30024:20077:1

If you want a GWR flavour, the Trystyn Route by Driver_Col is very pretty, scenic and allows typical branch line working. KUID2:149790:100002:4

I have built the Looe branch line in Cornwall for TANE, although trains need to reverse along it to continue their journey and there are no run around loops, so may need a loco at both ends.

Ah, you remind me that I need to get my finger out and release Ashburton-Windrush and Much Murkle in TANE. Both have been successfully transferred, but I'm just dragging my feet!

Hopefully soon, I will release my Finsbury Park to Alexandra Palace branch line. It's only 4 miles long, set in 1954, with push-pulls with N2 Tanks and Gresley Teak Quad-Arts. Also LU tube stock being transferred by LU Battery locos. This line is very quirky but quite authentic. There are sections of double-track with one direction being two-rail, and the other four-rail with LU conductor rails.

Not the greatest screenshot but it gives the general idea:

I've been working on it for ten years and it really is time I uploaded it.
