Something that happened today, the RMS Titanic narrowly avoids collision into a Cruise Ship almost hitting both its bow and stern. Luckily quick actions both by the towing Tug and the cruise ship left both ships un damaged.

Right on Titanic, providing you are referring to the other vessel, wrong on Queen Mary, that's Mauretania.
(If you are referring to the Titanic Model, yeah, for some reason it was made similar to the Queen Mary's Structure, I wonder why?)

It was probably to mimick the Titanic's rigid structure. Too bad it didn't help the Titanic.
