Sevice Pack not installin!?

I downloaded the new update (SP3) to install the Blue Comet and I get this error when running the new patch.

This patch installer requires at least Service Pack 3 for Windows XP.
The patch can be retried once the Service Pack is installed.

You need to update your Windows XP (computer operating system) to service pack 3. Do this via the Windows update site or turn on automatic patching in Windows.
