Well worth getting Bill, I can confirm that it will install into TS2009 and TS2010.
Once you have installed the add on there are also extra downloads on the settleandcarlisle.co.uk site. You should also be able to use some of the extra content - scenery, signals etc from the (TC3) Trainz Classics UK site.
There are a few threads on this forum and the UKTrainz forum about how to install (if you have any problems).

Well that was B@#dy quick. I placed my order about 9.30p.m. NZ time, looked at my email about 10.30 p.m. Email reportedly received 9.55 p.m. Download estimated time 23 min. actual time 30min. copied the install file to a DVD then installed from HDD, took about 25 min. Database repair another 30 min. up and running at 11.35 p.m. I was going to go to bed just after looking at my emails but still up now, 12.15 a.m. Going to bed NOW goodnight all.

Just wanted to say that there should be nothing on the trainzclassics.co.uk website that isn't either built-in to Settle and Carlisle, or available in an updated form specifically for the S&C add-on on the settleandcarlisle.co.uk website.
Mixing and matching between the two websites and games is definitely not recommended.

Oops... Sorry Mike, I have not checked the S&C site "Content" section for a long while (do my updates from the "direct" links) and had not noticed it now contains all the ex TC3 stuff!

Hi All,
I have now run most of the sessions in the Settle & Carlisle set but find some of them a little bit boring. Too long runs with nothing much happening, I prefer more industry activity with slightly shorter runs. However it is a fantastic undertaking to get this all going and must have taken a lot of work. I congratulate Mike and friends on this. One slight glitch I found, the jinty and the small saddle tank locos do not steam well, they start of with a full head of steam but drop to about 25psi as soon as you start off. Is there a fix for this anywhere? I have tried them with full steam effects off and on and it does not seem to make any difference.

Adding to Mike's comment re using the blower, this is needed at the start of any session to get the fire hot.
Also the Aspinall tank and the 3F 0-6-0T are small locomotives with limited steaming capacity. Their load hauling abilities need to be considered before attaching a heavy load, particularly where there are steep gradients.

why do they have the favorites button? its really anoyying
Opening the blower is not the usual procedure when you have a full head of steam and a white hot fire. In this case the load does not need to be considered as the loco was running light, i.e. not pulling wagons.

Hi Mike,
The blower work around helps, I can at least hold some steam pressure with the blower but it is not prototipical. I am trying some changes to the engine config to see if I can get an improvement that way.

In that case try using smaller regulator and shorter cut off settings. Watch out for either of these to start flashing green or yellow on the Custom HUD. They indicate excessive settings which lead to wheel slip and fire throwing.
