Session Problems in TRS2006

I am unsure if this is a problem with my specific setup or not, but none of the built-in sesions are working. For exapmple: Marias Pass Approach - Amtrak Nr 7 session.

1. The clock is at 12:05:14 and it never moves.
2. None of the AI trains do ANYTHING at all... they all just sit there. I jump in the Amtrak and start driving the train, but unless I jump in all of the other trains and move them around, I can't get anywhere..

tempted to say it's your comp that not up to it.
post your system specs, someone will chip in to say yeh or neh.
this may sound stupid but have the AI got commands to follow?

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz Processor
2GB DDR2 Ram
NVidia Quarto NVS 140M w/ 512MB Ram w/ newest drivers available

The game runs just fine.... I get excellent frame rates @ 1440X900 resolution with all the graphics sliders turned up at least half way or higher.

And I am assuming that the AI trains have commands to follow. They are the default sessions that came with the game. Maybe I incorrectly assumed that if I wanted to run the Amtrak session, I would only be responsible for the Amtrak train, not all 7 or 8 consists that were written into the session. I am not sure I want to run a session where I have to try to be personally responsible for issuing commands to 7 or 8 trains all at the same time.

Also, no matter which session I start, I always start out in the external camera view in the middle of nowhere, like in a field or some other place that has nothing to do with the session I selected. I have to open the mini map and manually scan across the route to find the consist I am supposed to be controlling.

Other than the graphics cars, I have a simialr processor and memory and I ran the MP-Approach Amtrak session fine. Has to be something with the setup. SP1 or no?

Yeah, SP1. Maybe I will backup local folder and uninstall/reinstall.
