server full

FCT

I have a FCT and have had one for 2 weeks. I cannot download a thing and continually prompted with "server appears to be full try again later"

My firends are asking me which sim to buy RW2 or ts2010 as i have both and have not had a single problem with RW2 guess which one i've been recommending. This game is unplayable out of the box. I am very disappointed and wish i didn't buy a damn FCT as it's a waste of time.

And yes i have activated the FCT

If you are getting that message, your FCT is probably not activated, check your profile again. There is also a normal delay of about 2-3 days between activation and the FCT becoming functional. This may be longer at the present time with most staff on leave.

I have just checked, the FCT server is on-line and functioning. My CM3.3 logged on immediately.

Change your password in your Auran Profile (you can use the same one) and clear out your Download Helper list in Content Manager - this should fix the problem.

I was having problems when I just got a FCT, resetting passwords didn't help, but the bit of advice I've highlighted did. Thanks.

Ok, using names and throwing acts around is not going to help anyone nor is it going to bring us closer together. Please chill out, let people post their issues so we can all benefit from it.:)
 
So activated my FCT, but it still says I have a 100mb limit and download server is full.

Oh now it says I've got 89 days left (where's the 90?) but still I can't download, even after resetting my password.

This REALLY annoys me after paying for it!!!!!!!!

When you reset your password, have you cleared your download helper list? If not, you will need to do so.

If clearing the download helper list in Content Manager does not fix it, you may need to send a helpdesk message.

It always happens to me also, I reckon it is done on purpose so that poeple woll buy FTC to be able to download on DLS. Nice one Auran for leting us believe that we can download stuff for free, when in reality we heve to pay for th privilege.:(
 
Please don't state things like that - it is actually due to the fact that as Trainz is such a popular program (partly due to the offer of free downloads), there is always going to be a limit on the amount of users accessing the server at once (otherwise the server would crash), and as a result, some of the time the server is likely to be full (it has not got infinite capacity).

I think with some of you, you aren't happy unless your moaning and bitching about something. (In my own case, I try and look at life as if my glass is always half full, and I can assure you that life is much more enjoyable if you approach all of life that way)...

What tends to pi__ me/us off is the constant bitching and snipping from a very small minority of you, that no matter what, will never be happy with "your lot"
