Serious Signal and AI Speed Issues

I guess one would need midwest grain to see how to implement the offsets.
IIRC those assets are also used on the TS12 built-in Mojave route.

Edit:
... which is useless information for you as you do not have that version. Sorry; forgot to check.

I think that a majority of builders are placing interlocking & disatnace signals on a route because of how they look, not on their usage. In many cases the aspect is incorrect, thus a slow order, for that block of track.

well doin a Chicago route and was attempting to use the 08 s as in real life operations theyre, and read what NS37 was saying about the DLS versions were corrupt...
on your 11mph situation I seen that problem alot when I was using 2006 and realized the culprits seemed to be older engine files... may wanna check various engines in such case?
Dave =)

I've noticed that too. I happen to be one of the "odd" creators and use signals how they're supposed to. JR has distance and approach signals which work very nicely as intended.

Perhaps I've been lucky, but I've never had the 11 mph issue with the Type 08s.

same aspects may set a speed limit depending on what they are. the intention is that the line speed be re-established at an appropriate point to let the trains know when to resume speed after they have passed the point the signal intended the speed limit. for instance, you dont want a train doing 70 mph on a crossover between 3 tracks, the signal would set the limited, medium, or restricted speed and then a lineside speed sign should set the speedlimit back once the train has cleared. this is typical of speed signals and their operations in trainz. one possible cause would be the signal displaying incorrect aspects by not having it's path set properly in the properties dialog. in the real world, the rules normally call for the train to resume speed once the interlocking or control point is cleared (which is why the working length counters in my cabs come in handy).
