Serial Number

I've tried to register on the Trainz site so I can get to the DLS and I've brought a First Class Ticket, however, when I go to download something, it says I need my Trainz Simulator 12 serial number. I've lost my serial number. Have I just wasted $25?
 
You will need the serial number from the manual/box, unless you managed to already enter it in-game. If you haven't got this, I'm afraid that you have limited chance of getting anything from it.

I think it is on the back page of the manual that came with the disk. I looked for the number for a couple of hours before it jumped out at me!
 
its on the back of the last page of the manual. Also, when you installed the version, you had to enter the code. i got the disk and kept everything just for this reason. you need it in times like this. otherwise, yes you have wasted $25. I bid you good luck
 
Click on the Planet Auran tab at the top of this page. Log in. On the left side is a list of options. Click on serial number. Scroll down, and if you did register your number, it should be there! Hopefully this will help you. And, welcome to the forums!!!

He did not register his serial number, for there is no -TS12 in his userbar.
 
If you bought it new and there's no manual/serial number send it/go back to the shop you got if from.

If you bought it second-hand and the previous owner registered the serial, then you are bang out of luck as N3V don't permit serial number transfers.

Bit odd they would sell a FCT before confirming you were a registered user though...

Did you have another or previous username on the forums and Planet Auran? If this is the case and you are trying to register the program with a new username, you will show up here as unregistered. Your best bet will be to contact the helpdesk and get your accounts merged so that your old one is the main account and the new one no longer exists, or vise a versa.
