Selecting a Loco for a quickdrive

I'm using Trainz for Mac 2011 and would like to know how to select any locomotive and drive on any route in quickdrive mode.

Whilst there is no official manual provided (For Mac). I have referred to the Simulator 12 Manual and tutorials and I cannot find any reference to such.
I'm surprised a manual wasn't released *with* the application. I've found others online that are of no help.

Also, whilst ability to view trains in Railyard is nice, how hard is it to add a 'Drive selected Train' on 'Track of your selection. (not sure how particular trainz is with certain trains of different gauges on incorrect track.

Am I missing something?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Click the TS2012 icon to open the launcher.
Select Trainz.
Select Route.
Select the route you want to run.
Click the Session button lower right corner.
Select Edit Session button upper left.
Position the view to the area of the map that you want.
Click the Trainz tab (or press F7).
Pick your loco and traincars and place on the track.
Click the Quick Drive icon upper left or press Ctrl F2.
